I graduated from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2012 and have been practicing in Australia since 2019. I have a special interest in surgery and orthopaedic surgery. I enjoy the challenge of surgical cases and the opportunity to help animals recover, regain comfort, and return to doing what they love.
Becoming a veterinarian was never a question for me — it’s something I wanted to do from a very young age. I was the child who brought home stray and injured animals, determined to help them, and that passion has stayed with me throughout my career.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is building relationships with both my patients and their owners. I believe good veterinary care is built on clear communication, trust, and supporting families through every step of their pet’s care, from diagnosis to recovery.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as bird watching, cooking, and dancing, which helps me recharge and maintain a balanced approach to my work.
