It is always a distressing time if your pet has gone missing.
We recommend all pets are microchipped as it is the only reliable form of lifelong pet identification.
All microchips implanted at Stabler & Howlett come with lifetime registration with Central Animal Records.
As a secondary precaution, we also recommend you have an ID tag attached to your pet’s collar with a contact phone number, as this can speed up the lost and found process.
Please ensure your microchip details are up to date.
Microchip details are no good if the phone number is disconnected or you’ve moved house! So each time you change your contact details, make sure you update them on the microchip register.
If you know your pet’s microchip number, then go to the Central Animal Records website.
Otherwise to find out which register their details are or visit us today so we can scan your pet’s microchip and point you in the right direction.
To book your pet in for their microchip, please contact your nearest Stabler & Howlett Veterinary Surgeons clinic today.
