I started working at Stabler & Howlett Veterinary Surgeons at the start of 2014. Working at the clinic is awesome – most teenagers get their first part time job at a cafe or corner store, but in my workplace I get to witness, partake and experience saving and helping all kinds of animals firsthand whilst working alongside fantastic vets and nurses. My particular areas of interest at work would be toxicology. I also love seeing the techniques and equipment used in the surgery.
I have a very large animal family! I am a very keen rider and have 4 ponies – Simon, Manny, Charlie & Joy. I enjoy competing with my horses all over Queensland in dressage events and have been to Sydney to compete in the nationals. I also have two dogs – Gabby (9 years) Staffordshire Terrier and Sparticus (3 years) a Bull Arab. I also enjoy running and touch football.
