I ensure my patients receive the best nursing care on offer, and I continually strive to ensure each and every animal is treated this way.
I was interested in the veterinary industry from an early age, volunteering as a vet nurse at my local veterinary clinic while I was at high school. This encouraged me to explore the industry further, and I’ve since been involved in many areas of veterinary care including working as a kennel hand. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
After Uni, I relocated to Mackay and joined the Stabler and Howlett Veterinary Surgeons team. It’s here I discovered a love of surgery and anaesthetics, and a desire to expand my knowledge of the industry in any way that I can. I feel with my knowledge, skills and the amazing facilities we have at Stabler and Howlett Veterinary Surgeons, I’m able to deliver the very highest level of care to our patients.
Outside of work, you’ll probably find me at the gym or with my head behind a camera, indulging in my love of photography.
